Pensacola Rifle Rangers
2nd Florida Infantry
Company A was mustered into Confederate Service on 25 May 1861. Company A arrived in the Virginia theater of operations several weeks before the remaining companies. Company A became a part of the 2nd Florida Infantry after the arrival of Companies B through L in the Virginia theater.
